Telemarketing Jobs From HomeWhen I had my first son, I did what most career women do—I went back to my desk job after maternity leave, dropping my son off at daycare and going about my days catering to my unappreciative boss, just to get a paycheck to pay for the expenses of working: daycare, travel expenses, and office clothes. It seemed counter-intuitive. In addition to missing my little one 40 hours a week, I felt I was stuck—I couldn't be a stay-at-home mommy because we needed the paycheck, but we also needed the paycheck to pay for daycare and all the expenses of NOT being a stay-at-home mom. How frustrating! And by the time I left work, picked up my son from daycare, and fixed dinner, it was already time to read him a bedtime story and tell him good night. By the time he was out like a light, I didn't have any energy left to enjoy the rest of the evening with my husband. This was no longer the life I had planned for myself—at all!
